Saint Cloud is a friendly bike shop in down town Fitzroy. We are strong believers in supporting and endorsing unique and exclusive bicycle products on a local and international level. The shop is named after the commune of Saint Cloud in the western suburbs of Paris, France, where the first ever bicycle race was held on 31 May 1868. The 1.2km race in the Parc de Saint-Cloud was won by Englishman James Moore who rode a wooden bicycle with iron tyres. This machine is on display at a museum in Ely, Cambridgeshire, England.
